Premium Reimbursement Plans (POP's)
| | The OptiLife POP Plan follows Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, allowing employees to pay for group health premiums and other qualified health premiums with pre-tax dollars. Employees will have more take-home pay and the employer will have more profit due to decreased taxable wages. Self-funded plans that require employee premium contributions must have at least a Cafeteria Plan in place to avoid creating plan assets and the need for a trust.
